About the project

Isoclad supplied fire rated hoarding systems for some of the UK’s busiest shopping centres, including the Metrocentre in Gateshead, Bluewater in Dartford, St David’s in Cardiff, Westfield London, and Meadowhall in Sheffield. The brief focused on delivering a safe, clean, and robust barrier that protected the public during construction works while maintaining the appearance of a live retail environment.

Project needs

The client required a hoarding solution that met strict safety requirements, installed quickly and provided a tidy, professional finish. Installations needed to be completed within tight overnight windows, with panels delivered, fitted, detailed and cleaned before the centres reopened to the public. The system also needed to outperform traditional timber studding and plywood, offering a stronger, safer and more attractive alternative.
