Walls and ceilings for a cleanroom facility
- Thermocore 40

About the project
A local fabricating business approached Isoclad to supply an insulated panel system for a customer’s new cleanroom facility in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The end client, a worldwide medical solutions company producing pharmaceutical packaging and medical devices, required a reliable, hygienic, and temperature-controlled environment built to a high specification.
Project needs
The client needed a system that delivered consistent temperature control, a hygienic finish, and a layout suitable for specialist production processes. The contractor also required technical support, precise aperture cutting and accurate sequencing to streamline installation and reduce labour and site waste.

Isoclad supplied Thermocore PIR 40 panels, supported by our on-site technical expertise.
The solution delivered:
- A stable, temperature-controlled space using 100mm Thermocore PIR 40 panels
- A hygienic, white, dust-free laminate finish for cleanroom-grade performance
- Panels manufactured with all aperture openings pre-cut
- Sequenced deliveries for fast installation
- Support through CustomClad and PanelManager services
This enabled the contractor to install panels immediately on delivery, reducing time on site, labour costs and overall project waste.
